We encounter a lot of questions here at Lansing Party Buses, for your convenience we've included some of our most popularly encountered queries.   • Is smoking allowed on any of the party buses?

    Sorry, we do not allow smoking in any of our vehicles. The primary reasoning is for the long-term preservation of our party buses, party vans, and stretch limousines. There are several hazards which can result from smoking, and we seek to avoid them all. We hope you understand this is for the enjoyment of future clients and for your own safety.

  • Is the consumption of alcoholic beverages permitted in the party buses?

    We are quite pleased to say, YES! One of the prime benefits of renting a party bus from a licensed DOT limo carrier is that passengers who are of legal age can drink alcohol freely in any of our vehicles.

  • What is your standard procedure for going overtime? (What happens if we run over our reserved time?)

    You will simply be charged your standard hourly rate in 15 minute increments once you hit your time limit. This is in contrast to many other luxury vehicle providers who commonly charge over the top rates for overtime.

  • Do you have mileage restrictions regarding how far we're allowed to travel in your party buses?

    Not at all! With each reservation comes unlimited stops and unlimited mileage! We'll take you as far as you'd like to go as long as it falls under your reserved time.

  • Will our driver expect a tip at the end of the night?

    Not at all. With our system, the price you were quoted includes everything including the minimal tip. So, you don't have to tip your driver at the end of your service time if you don't want to.

  • I know our group has a budget, can you give me an idea of how much one of your vehicles might cost me?

    That would be hard for us to do because the cost really depends on a number of factors. The date and time you want the vehicle, your group size, and your pick up location all play a role. So, in order to find out what your cost will be, you can either email one of our agents with these details or simply give one of the a call. They will be more than happy to help you.

  • Who supplies the alcohol on the vehicle we rent?

    By law, we are not able to supply you with alcohol, but you are free to bring anything your group wants onto your vehicle and stock the coolers in the bar areas.

  • Is there a big difference between a limousine and a party bus?

    Yes, they are very different vehicles. A limousine has more of an elegance to it and that may be what you are looking for in certain situations while a party bus allows you to stand up and enjoy many amazing features like a dance floor and dancing pole.

  • What areas do you service other than the Lansing area?

    Check out our Where We Go page in order to see the immediate area that we travel to, but if you are willing to pay a fuel service fee, we will actually service anywhere in Michigan.

  • How do I know which vehicle is the best one for my event, you have so many to choose from?

    Your best option to find this out is to email or call one of our knowledgeable customer service agents. They are well trained in all things party bus related and they will be able to fit you and your group to the perfect vehicle for your situation.

  • How can I check on availability, is there a page on your website I can go to?

    No, we don't keep a running record online. It changes too quickly for that. But if you call one of our courteous customer service representatives, they will be able to look up the date and time you will be needing service. From there, they can tell you which vehicles are available that might fit your situation. But, remember, we operate on a first come first serve basis so the earlier you call the better chance you have of the vehicle you need being available on the date and time that you need it.

  • Is there a minimum or a maximum on the time I can rent a vehicle for?

    Other than our wedding packages which are 3.5 hours, we do require a 6 hour minimum rental period. In terms of maximum, no, there is no limit. If you want to rent a vehicle for 48 hours, that would be fine with us.

  • How does stopping at our venues work? Do we have to give you a list ahead of time that lists the places we want to stop at?

    We do ask for an itinerary beforehand of locations that you would like to stop. But this list is by no means exclusive. If you think of a few venues you would like to stop at en route, just mention them to your driver. In fact, you can even ask your chauffeur for suggestions on interesting places to check out.

  • What if I need to go to the bathroom, is there one available on your party buses?

    No, none of our vehicles have a bathroom. But keep in mind that our policy is unlimited mileage, unlimited stops when you rent a vehicle. So, that means that you can stop anytime you need to for any reason you need to.

  • How far can we go on our vehicle? Are we limited in anyway?

    No, once you start your service time on your vehicle, our policy is unlimited stops, unlimited miles.

  • In order to reserve one of your vehicles, do you require any money down ahead of time?

    Yes, if you want to reserve a vehicle for your date and time, you will need to put down a $200 hold on a credit card.

  • What forms of payment do you take?

    We accept credit or debit card, traveler's check, pre-approved bank check, or cash to the driver on the date of service.

  • In a business like yours, there must be hidden fees, can you tell us what they are?

    We have no hidden fees built into our cost structure. We feel that hidden fees are not a courteous and respectful way to treat our customers. So, when we tell you your bottom line price, that is exactly what it is.

  • We have an event planned for December, does your company still operate at that time of the year?

    Yes, we are available for any event 24/7, 365 days a year. So, give us a call and lets start a conversation.

  • When are your customer service representative available for me to find about more information?

    Our affable customer service agents are available all day and all night, 365 days a year. It is our goal to serve you when you need it.
